You do not need to have everything worked out
People come to therapy for different reasons. You may be living with anxiety, carrying a bereavement, finding relationships difficult or feeling overwhelmed by a change at work or at home. You may simply want time to understand yourself more clearly. You do not need a perfectly formed explanation before making an enquiry.
A compassionate, integrative approach
Liz is an Integrative and Humanistic IACP accredited Psychotherapist and Supervisor. Her approach is trauma-informed and draws from person-centred, psychodynamic, Gestalt, CBT, solution-focused and body-based approaches. The way of working is discussed with you, rather than expecting you to fit a single method. Trust, safety and acceptance are central to her approach.
What you can bring to therapy
Liz’s areas of interest include anxiety, anger, trauma, domestic abuse, loss and bereavement, family and relationship dynamics, neurodiversity, life transitions and workplace stress and burnout. These are starting points for a conversation, not labels you need to apply to yourself. Therapy is an opportunity to explore experiences, notice patterns and recognise your strengths without a promise of a particular outcome.

Your questions
Can I contact Liz without a referral?
Yes. You can contact Liz directly using the enquiry form, email or phone. A short initial message is enough.
Do I have to commit to long-term therapy?
You can ask about the way of working before deciding. The duration and frequency of therapy are discussed with Liz and can be reviewed as your needs become clearer.
What should I put in my enquiry?
Your name, how Liz can reply and a brief indication of the support you are seeking are enough. Please do not send detailed clinical information through the website.
A simple first step
Enquire about availability, fees and the support you are looking for. Please keep your message brief and avoid detailed personal or clinical information.
